I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing I love more than having a good pamper sesh a couple of times a week. In particular I love to pay some real attention to my skin. Skincare is so hit and miss and there is SO much to chose from on the market, it’s really hard to know where to start. I’ll give you a summary of my skin… I have post acne skin, deep pores and get very oily if I don’t hydrate it properly. Therefore I need a good balance of drawing out impurities and then having a hydration boost. Here’s my 6 must haves:
Mask of Magnaminty by Lush
A minty, multi-purpose mask. This is my ABSOLUTE must have! Magnaminty is a mixture of gentle and super effective ingredients, including honey and kaolin. The self preserved version of this mask uses antibacterial to help it stay fresh and prevents it from growing microorganisms. The extra honey in this formula gives the mask a more luxurious, thicker texture than its preserved counterpart – meaning it does not dry on your skin in the same way as the preserved version. It’s all about preference! So if you’re skin has the tendency to get a little dry I would go for the preserved version.
The mask is made with peppermint oil ( great for drawing out impurities and acne prone skin), marigold oil ( an antiseptic great for healing irritations) and chlorophyllin ( packed with vitamin A, smoothing skin and fighting texture). With some evening primrose seeds and aduki beans to create a gently exfoliate, mineral rich kaolin to nourish, honey for its antibacterial properties, and we just the right amount of peppermint oil, your skin is left feeling unreal fresh, bright and clean. Use before bed…. or if you’re like me and have many no make up days use in the morning too! Simply leave on for 15 minutes then rinse off with warm water, massaging as you go.

Cellular Renewal Mask – Arbonne
This a fav of mine to create my healthiest-looking complexion. It’s all about the pineapple and orange ! The vitamin C in pineapple and orange is a very effective in minimising pores and therefore is a great for everyone who wants a radiant skin but is also a great acne treatment. I love this because it also has and gentle added exfoliant to get rid of the dead skin cells, and the papaya extract and brown algae help moisturise the outer layer of skin and leave you feeling super soft. Use 1–2 times per week at night. Apply a generous layer over clean skin and leave on for 5–7 minutes then rinse. Slight transient tingling or redness may be experienced and is normal so don’t worry!

Rose Formula Antioxidant Facial Mask – Neals Yard
My hydration must have! One of my fav essential oils for skin, Rosehip, revitalises and brightens normal and dehydrated skin types and is great for acne prone or very sensitive skin.. With a blend of gently exfoliating maple, gotu kola, purifying kaolin and pink clay, this weekly treatment helps to tone and firm your skin while encouraging a fresher, brighter appearance. I use this weekly on clean dry skin, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Leave for up to 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask – The Body Shop
This creamy vegan Mask is a mix of green tea ( to improve tone) dandelion extract ( antioxidant) and soothing aloe vera ( great for sensitive skin) to deeply purify and gently exfoliate your skin. This mask is amazing for removing impurities and liberates your skin from the weekly build-up of city pollutants. I love this one! Remove make-up and cleanse the skin. Apply and leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water in circular motions to gently exfoliate. For best results, use 2-3 times per week.

Nutrition Infusion Sheet Mask – Elemental Herbology
Having experienced the hydration induced glow given by these masks, I wouldn’t holiday without them. They’re the perfect post-beach kinda mask, Instantly brightening, cooling and hydrating! After cleansing ( and I like to use a Facial Glow Radiance Peel also) remove the mask from the sachet and unfold. Remove the protective white film and discard. Smooth the mask layer over the entire face adjusting the eye, mouth and nose openings to fit comfortably. Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes. Remove the mask and massage the remaining serum into face and neck, no need to wash off. Sorted!

Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask – Origins
Nature’s complexion clean-up crew clears the way for skin to act its best. Bamboo Charcoal is like a magnet to draw out deep pore-cloggers and White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins and Lecithin dissolves impurities. My skin instantly looks clearer, feels cleaner and less oily. I like to use this just before bed 2-3 times a week and paired with a hydrating moisturiser.
