Any skin, especially acne prone skin need to be purified. It’s just the way it goes, and who doesn’t want there skin to feel fresh and clean?! Purifying your skin is super easy and effective! Here are some of my favourite way to do so..
Stay Hydrated
Drink at least 2 L of water a day to flush toxins out and keep your body and skin hydrated! Lemon is great to add to water for a digestion kick start and a vitamin C boost.

Drink Kombucha
I love Kombucha and Probiotics are amazing for purifying your skin from the inside out as the live bacteria helps to keep your gut healthy. Irritated problematic skin is often linked with an unhappy gut. Try Planet organic for some yummy kombucha choices!

Choose Natural Cosmetics
Always opt for gentle, non-comedogenic cosmetics as these are proven to be less harsh on your skin, especially if it is sensitive or you have enlarged pores that are easily clogged. Steam Your Skin
Steaming your skin is a great way to effectively purify your pore. simply fill up a bowl of hot water (be careful!) and place your face over the steam with a towel over your head – try this before exfoliating for super-effective deep cleansing.

Exfoliate With a Face Mask Or Face Peel
It’s really important to remove pollutants, excess oil, make-up and impurities from your skin. See my latest skincare post for a few of my favourite peels and exfoliating masks here.

Sleep
ncreased inflammatory cells in the body lead to an increase in the breakdown of collagen and hyaluronic acid, the molecules that give the skin its glow, bounce, and translucency. While you’re sleeping, the body’s hydration rebalances. Skin is able to recover moisture, while excess water in general in the body is processed for removal. Not getting enough sleep results in poor water balance, leading to puffy bags under your eyes and under-eye circles, as well as dryness and more visible wrinkles. So where you can make the most of the extra hours of shut eye !

Eat Clean
Clean gut = Clean skin. Simple. I found that the appearance of my skin improved so much once I began eating vegan, cut down on sugary processed foods and ate healthy and often instead of starving myself! For more information on great personalised diets for you connect with me!
